Yes, she's a puppy. She's a little larger than we'd anticipated. She's Jack Russell cross, but we're beginning to wonder what she was crossed with - her paws are worryingly large.

Just to make u feel better, my dept head has 7.
But then again his wife works as a therapist using animals for disabled children.
He basically lives in an animal shelter.
