Big Giant Thought of the Day

"In all directions, the current scientific paradigm leads to insoluble enigmas, to conclusions that are ultimately irrational. Since World Wars I and II there has been an unprecedented burst of discovery, with findings that suggest the need for a fundamental shift in the way science views the world. When our worldview catches up with the facts, the old paradigm will be replaced with a new biocentric model, in which life is not a product of the universe, but the other way around."

Certainly, perception is reality. This has been known to manipulators of cultures, such as Nazis, or the current American left, forever. It way predates Nazis. But Nazis are probably the worst perpetrators. Second worst? The current American left. You heard it here first.
On a serious note, perception of really is reality, really. Emotions are called that because they motivate. Without them there is no motivation. control emotions of a culture, and you control the culture. Witness the race narrative, or other simplistic good vs evil narratives. That's the go-to move of cultural manipulators. They don't want to leave room for individuals to craft their own narratives. They want the majority to believe a narrative that they have no control over. Witness the Nazis and the narrative about how the Jews are holding everybody down, or the current leftist American narrative about how white males are holding everybody down. People know these manipulations on an intellectual level, but few have a visceral reaction against them. Their lack of reaction is due to the effectiveness of the emotional manipulation they've lived through. The cultural messaging they've been fed.
