Well, the author makes some good points, but they are advanced points, available only to truly mature people, practiced in the art of cultural observation. These thoughts will seem silly to many - this is appropriate and necessary.
For those of us who are able to dip from the well of truth, these sorts of observations are self-evident:
intense partisanship is being driven by the radicalization of college-educated white voters, especially women with advanced degrees, who are more and more progressive in their views.
As a mature person, I will wait patiently for other people of lesser maturity to eventually gather the truth of these points. Until then, we will watch the culture decay, and indeed often burn, in the fires of righteousness.

Now let's go to the progressive white women example, in the context of that idea. Are they trying to change themselves, or are they trying to change others? Do they have any doubt about their own lack of racism or compassion for the disadvantaged? Or do they feel free to forcefully impose their idea of compassion on the society at large, because they have no doubt of the superiority of their own emotional responses?
Education is extremely important.

Now let's go to the progressive white women example, in the context of that idea. Are they trying to change themselves, or are they trying to change others? I've explained this at length here on TNCR over the years. The leftist thinkers actually say it right out loud. Race underpins all of politics.
What they don't say out loud is that they rely on the given assumption that "bad" people base their judgments on skin color, while "good" people do not. This in turn teaches children, who only really know themselves, rather than others, that they must be part of the good tribe. (Skin color is not, in reality, something that most of us care too much about.) But the children are thus indoctrinated into tribalism, in the way that most effectively indoctrinates them. By teaching them that they are better than most of those around them.
The tl;dr version of that is that the racism narrative is a facile adaptation of a good vs evil narrative. That narrative is used by the left to indoctrinate the masses, and especially children.

It seems peculiar to the US as it is not nearly as prevalent or part of the narrative in this country or, it would seem, elsewhere in the Americas.
We have the trump card of slavery to play. We are not alone in having a history of slavery, of course, but we are alone in how the masses believe it distinguishes us from everybody else.

COVID will soon be a footnote in US history, the other poison, race, is on a par in America with class struggle that not all that long ago characterized Europe's social malaise. It seems peculiar to the US as it is not nearly as prevalent or part of the narrative in this country or, it would seem, elsewhere in the Americas.
