The number of National Guard that Trump authorized on 1/4/21 for additional security in Washington.

    Pelosi did not request them.

The President can make them available, but the speaker must make a formal request. Apparently, Pelosi felt they were not needed.

And you may be absolutely right.

I wouldn't put it past SanFranNan to short-change security, in order to try to gain political advantage.

The fact that a bunch of imbeciles were able to storm the capitol, and that one of them got shot doing so, is a huge and enduring political win for Democrats. It will be taught in schools, with a wink wink that the kids probably shouldn't be on that political side.

          Education is extremely important.

Or maybe a huge own-goal for the Magatariat.

Yes it's also a huge and enduring emotional win for TDS sufferers. I'm happy for you jon. I think I recall you even making an attempt to squeeze out a tear for the magat that got killed. That was a good show.

@horace Justice was served to her.

In the proper mood I can feel sorry for her as a victim of the vast magat grift machine that frothed her up. But in yet other moods such thoughts seem patronizing and I feel I should at least credit her with agency, in which case the pity dries up.
