Because evil can never be dead enough

There was a story about 20 years ago about a guy who was a terror on the community. I believe they did one of those Dateline features on him. There even was some evidence that he killed a person by driving them off the road. He then threatened I believe a marine sergeant's wife and child which proved to be disadvantageous to him as the marine emptied a clip into the guy, reloaded and put a second clip into him at point blank range. Even the judge said that the world might be a better place without him around, but the marine still went to jail. Some people are evil.

You shoot until you negate the threat.
I figure if the SOB is breathing, he's a threat.

BTW, that's an illegal weapon.
Somebody(s) needs to go to jail.

He was in full auto, wasn't he?
He was probably hitting the cop with it because he emptied the magazine on that first encounter.
Don't know, it could have been a legal trigger or he could could just have a fast trigger finger. Regardless,
for him to even have a firearm in his possession is illegal.Penalties for Felon in Possession of a Firearm Under federal law, the crime of Felon in Possession of a Firearm is a Class D felony, punishable by up to ten years in prison, three years of supervised release, and $250,000 in fines.
