    The Chicago Way...

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

      Bullshit.

No self-respecting "Chicago Dog" would have charred leek dijonaise in it's ingredients.

This goes back to my Silver Diner disgust. A diner is a diner. Don't try to pretty it up. I don't want award winning Avocado Toast, I don't want Eggs served with a delightful Aioli, I don't want an Omelet Deconstructed... I want meatloaf and gravy or greasy eggs and bacon. I never want to see "dijonaise" ever associated with a Chicago style dog...

@lufins-dad said in Dog, with a twist.:

I want meatloaf and gravy or greasy eggs and bacon.

AND hot roast beef sandwich on mushy Wonder Bread drenched in gravy and choice of mashed or french fries!

Agreed in chorus with all the other sentiments here. Dijonaise, my ass.

Success is measured by your discipline and inner peace. – Mike Ditka

Funny this subject came up. We had Portillo's last night. Mrs. George had one of their burgers (very good, by the way) and I had a Maxwell Street Polish.
