    Do you mean that he literally worked mucking stalls, he portrayed a stable/farm hand in a show or movie, or he was part of a stable of actors?

                        At first I was thinking of studio stables as in movies and tv… A lot of guys that were role players before getting their breakout. I was going completely down the wrong track.
