Anybody know anything about coins?

While Karla was visiting Lucas, she handed him a handful of change to use for laundry. Among these coins were some commemorative quarters that Lucas’ roommate is trying to convince him are worth some serious cash… Any ideas?

What jolly said. But generally speaking, general rule: touched by human hands = seriously depreciated value.

I have bags of old coins from grandparents. Some super cool stuff and paper money too. The best is a 5 dollar gold piece in really good condition. I priced many several years ago and compared their value to what I could have made in alternate investments…lost every time by holding. But still will keep as family heirloom.
