Meeting our store’s HVAC guy this morning. Having our summer maintenance done. We are also switching our store’s filters to MERV13. They aren’t really that much more than regular filters and last longer. Don’t know why they weren’t more prevalent before.

We are also looking at this GPS Pinpoint Ionization Unit that gets mounted in the ductwork and kills every frigging thing. Not sure we can spring for it, but it will make me feel better about our recital hall this fall...

What steps are your offices taking?

I remember that from Andromeda Strain, they shot poison darts inside the air ducts to kill mice that might sneak in.

I've been told we had a big crew go into our offices and labs and completely disinfect everything. They've also had consultants in, to advise on the airflow through offices due to the A/C. I'd suggested everybody having a HEPA filter in their office, but not sure whether that will happen - our layout is such that almost everybody has an office with a door, which is pretty unusual, but will also help with distancing.

According to what I saw, when we return we're going to be wearing masks and gloves at all times. I don't really see how it's going to work, but that's just me.

        I was only joking
