Relieved of duty

God Bless him. I'd talk him out of leaving, promote him and appoint him to the Joint Chiefs.
-
He spoke his conscience, and for that I give him lots of credit.
He also disparaged the superior officers making these decisions, and for that severe indiscretion, he was relieved of duty. He actually expected it and said that if he were in the chain of command he would have done the same.

I seem to remember Billy Mitchell had a few unkind words to say about some of the knobheads over him...

Yeah, we can't have that. If you want to speak your mind without restriction, don't go in the military. Hierarchy has to work.
And Billy Mitchell paid, too.

And changed the course of history.

The comments are so surreal. I haven't been following the liberal coverage here, are they saying he's crazy? Is that actually the game?
