For what it's worth...

Just a small note, make of it what you will...The BD Veritor kit is one of the most popular lateral flow screening kits in America.

They are now back-ordered and users are limited to whatever they have in-house. This is not a problem with test performance, this is a problem due to demand. No word as to when kits will be allocated or shipped.

This is a small hospital, but the lab does a lot of outreach biz. We've been blowing through 2 kits/day.
And speaking of blowing through...I hate suits and clipboards. The CEO is showing some corporate guys around last week and is bragging on the CV2T (total COVID antibody) assay we do on the Dimension platform. One of the first twenty labs in America offering the test.
Well, the darn things are hard to get. The corporate lizards were so impressed with the test, we did a dozen freebies. Full pop, that's $140/test. But what's worse, I've got just what's left in my on-board flex and then I have no tests left for patients. And with Ida coming in, even if we could get some ordered, they couldn't deliver them.
Did I say I hate suits and clipboards?
