I haven’t seen polls but it would be interesting if Larry Elder won. It would point to a potential winning strategy for the GOP - run black candidates and thereby strip away just enough of the Dem coalition to win.

Black candidates are the only viable strategy for the right.

That seems like a pretty stupid thing to to say. They’ll pick up house seats and possibly senate seats with old white guys.

I'm not predicting Elder will win. As an anti-racist, I hope he does, but I understand that not enough Californians are anti-racist.
