Well of course nothing is free. Most hospitalizations are Medicare and Medicaid so you are funding it one way or another or it gets added to the debt. All anethemas to GOP tax and debt platforms.

I think you misunderstand a whole hell of a lot. “Let’s blow it” are you bitching about money spent on hospitalizations of smokers? Accident victims that weren’t wearing their seatbelts? How about all the billions spent thanks to COPD because people are too fat?

There is a vaccine. It costs nothing. You say in the name of liberty a person has a right to 20k hospitalization cost. Ok. How does that square with your GOP proclivities of not wanting higher taxes to fund that incremental expense or do you just want to add to our debt. It’s a simple math exercise. New expenses, how do they get paid? You say the money is already there, but it isn’t it’s EXTRA expense.

Many reasons but treating avoidable deaths and serious issues has lead to serious burnout.

No problem with that at all. $2400 seems a bit much, I would like to see the math, but otherwise it’s fine.

My company thought outside the box and told everybody that if they don't provide proof of vaccination, they're fired without severance nor ability to file for unemployment.

I may be wrong about the unemployment bit. But the lack of severance was justified as due to having been fired for cause. Which I thought disallowed unemployment benefits. But I wouldn't be surprised if I'm mistaken about that.
Education is extremely important.

Fired for cause negates unemployment benefits down here.
