To be honest, as long as people follow dosing instructions (which are all over the net), it's a pretty safe drug...and they'll be worm free!

This is what gets me about stories and "journalism."
(not meant, by any means, to be an endorsement of ivermectin for COVID).
Just read the way the story is narrated:
"Ivermectin, a potentially dangerous"
Yeah, so is aspirin. Tylenol will kill your liver if you take too much.
"substantial risk of seizures or coma IF USED INCORRECTLY"
Yeah, so is digoxin, which, for decades, was used for heart failure.
the FDA warned on social media, "You are not a horse. Stop it with the #Ivermectin. It's not authorized for treating #COVID."
Snark aside, what IS authorized for treating COVID? Regeneron was only approved three weeks ago. It was not authorized when Trump got it. Actemra was approved 8 weeks ago. Remdesivir and convalescent antibodies have been a bust (still on the HHS website as treatments, by the way). What other arrows does the FDA have in its quiver other than symptomatic treatment (steroids and other anti-inflammatories?) What's the availability of monoclonal antibodies?
