          Lots of rain here, but not much wind. My son is home alone, looking after the dog. It'll do him good, we're telling ourselves.

          What I found odd was the media claim that this is the first hurricane to hit New England in 30 years, apparently completely forgetting about Irene in 2011, which was a considerably more significant event than this one. Knobheads.

            Rachel and the boy are dealing with it at the moment.

            Saturday I saw a convoy of several dozen power company trucks heading east.

              Yeah, but you can go to the Wegman’s flagship store in Pittsford which is just about as good.
