Jolly we’ve been wanting to. We’ve rented a mustang and a Camaro so the charger/challenger is logically next.

The exotics place doesn’t carry the muscle cars. Regular rental places often have Mustangs and camaros as their convertible option. But the dodge doesn’t come in a convertible.

    Only non-witches get due process.

How did the Porsche compare to the 'Vette?

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

The Vette was a convertible which I love. Both quick as hell, too much time between the rentals for me to say which was quicker.

        Porsche definitely handled better.

The Hellcat is pure muscle in a four door. They say they'll run 200mph, but I don't know. I think my son has kicked it up to 170 on the track.

How 'bout a twofer? The boy will be going off to school in a few years...The Miata is not a powerful car, but they are fun to drive. Kind of like a MG that doesn't break.

Dad could break it in for him...

I’ve been using a yakama bike rack that straps on to the back of my hatchback (Honda Fit/Jazz). Supposedly it holds three bikes but the sum of all three of our bikes exceeds the weight limit so the most I've done is two. Usually it’s just the boy’s bike.

My next car will use the trailer hitch method.

              Far superior. 👍

(And by the way, that's a normal progression, strap rack to hitch rack. Pretty much everyone makes that mistake.)

              Please love yourself.

Or...Could buy a nice pickup or pickup and toy hauler.

Well then hell, man, what you need is a Land Rover Defender for the day trips, and a Mercedes-Benz 170 3500 Sprinter for your van conversion. Get yourself some 300 watt solar with a battery-to-battery charger, and you can go off-grid for as long as you like. Water filtration, insulation and air fan are easier with that model, too.

                  Please love yourself.

There’s a police charger up on auction right now. 5.7 L Hemi V8. 370 HP… Needs tie rods and some body work and a paint job to cover for where the police equipment was mounted. If it goes low enough, I might just go for it…
