Observations and thoughts about gymnasts and gymnastics

Observations and thoughts about gymnasts and gymnastics:
- No one pays attention to male gymnasts
- Haven’t heard of any female-to-male transgender gymnast competing in any notable competitions, Have you?
- Comparing the female gymnasts competing today to the female gymnasts competing in, say, the 1980’s, it seems the female gymnasts of today are more muscular, their muscle definitions are more visually obvious. Today’s female gymnasts probably make more powerful moves (e.g., higher jumps, faster spins and flips, more explosive bounces, etc.), though I’m not exactly sure how “power” is typically understood or measured in gymnastics.
- We will most likely not talk about gymnasts or gymnastics again until the next Summer Olympic Games come around.

- I'm sure some gays are fascinated by male gymnasts.
- No.
- It's all about power -to- weight. Female gymnasts are at their peak at about 16. Most have been training before they turn 6. And training is better today, with better nutrition and a higher understanding of kinesiology.
- We may not, but LSU has had a pretty good team in the last few years. Having a good team generates local buzz.

I agree with your observations.
Speaking of gymnasts from previous decades, I recently met a Romanian who’s bother dated Nadia Comaneci.
Remember her? She was the first person to score a perfect 10 in the Olympics back in 76.
Apparently the brother scored a perfect 10 in 86…She developed into quite the hottie…
