Scarlett Johansson argues that Disney breached their contract with her by simultaneously releasing the Black Widow movie in theaters as well as on Disney’s streaming platform, thereby stunted the movie’s box office performance and reduced her bonus compensation tied to the box office performance.
I don’t particularly care who wins this lawsuit, but it’s an interesting look into the blockbuster movie business’ transition from “theaters” to “streaming.”

Agreed. I'd be interested to see what the contract actually says. I'd be surprised if it were so specific as to differentiate between theater and streaming.
Well, maybe I wouldn't .
Question is, which is more profitable to the performer/distributor?

In my opinion she has a solid legal case, based on the precedent of hot chicks vs anything, wherein hot chicks prevailed. Plaintiff claim in that case was “I’m hot”. Cross examination revealed no flaws in the argument.
You should be a lawyer.
