Okay, I give up. I can live with some natural mysteries, but I'm fed up with this one and I demand answers.

Y'all may not experience this . . . in this forum's tab identifier up top, just to the left of "Recent Topics", there periodically appears a little red 1. Then it goes away. Then some time later, there appears a little red 2. Then it goes away until the next time the little red 1 appears.

What the heck is that??? What do they mean?

I believe if you look up to the right of the search icon you will see a bell with the number 1 on it. That's the number of notifications you have. My icon in tab says 11.

The Browser Tab is at the far top/left on my Chrome browser. This is where I see a logo that appears to be a backward blue B and a blue B.

I believe the red number there is the count of unread replies for you.
