It's sweet corn season. What's for dinner?

I'm making a version of this, but first I blanched the corn , stripped the cobs then put the cobs back in the water to make a corn flavored stock to cook the pasta. Using mixture of Thai and Genovese basil. Might add some egg yolk for a little saucier too.

Sweet corn season ended for us about a month ago. I grow Funks G90, a bicolor sweet corn. This year was not a good year. I think we put 100 ears of corn-on-the-cob and 30 pints of cream style.
As for supper tonight...A simple shrimp stew made with a dark roux, some rice and some of last year's snap beans....
