We've been affected by rain and hail two weeks ago, when several basements around our house were flooded and many cars were damaged by hail. For us, it was relatively harmless; we have on roof for a bike shed that needs to be repaired.
This current rain is not in our area, fortunately.
The Green Party is of course celebrating the event, a few weeks prior to the election.
