Facebook is not the only service that hosts online photos. If Facebook don’t want to show your photo, post it somewhere else.

I must admit, I could live without ever seeing that photo again.

I guess it depends on what you hope to get out of Facebook.

And yet, Facebook let that photo stand for five years.

      Five years.

      And now it's "offensive."

That says a lot more about Facebook than it does about the photo.

The United States let slavery stand for 89 years, and then it’s illegal.

Smoking in public spaces was allowed until it isn’t.

Windshield wipers and seat belts on automobiles weren’t required until they are.

        Community standards change.

If you think Facebook is the problem, that’s even more reason to take your business and your content elsewhere.

Why are you surprised? Ax has made a sport out of being obtuse and he's been competing at a world class level for decades.

            Please love yourself.

It's a bloody good job that everybody else here takes these discussions more seriously than Ax.

Sigh. Poor Ax. He makes a perfectly obvious point -- to take your offering elsewhere if you don't like the venue -- and everybody falls on him like an avalanche.

Why? Because it's Ax, and that's what we do.

If he is still angry it’s on him. The photo is in really poor taste, I would steer clear of him but maybe it’s his right. A growing percent of the electorate wasn’t even born when the event happened.

I don't want to see pictures of Auschwitz on Facebook. I don't want to see pictures of people about to die. I don't want to see pictures of Kennedy's head exploding.

I go there to catch up with my friends and relatives. That's what it's for. Well, that and to allow Facebook to harvest all my personal data.

Then get your electricity from whomever you please. And if you can't, toughsky shitsky, start your own electric company.

That is the point Ax is making. I'm sure it's obvious, but it certainly is flawed...
