There’s a certain logic to it, if you held some of the more apocalyptic views of climate change. Which I don’t.

Also, it represents some progress for them (no pun intended). Usually they act like they don’t realize that the climate battle will be won or lost in Beijing, not in the US or Europe.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. But like you learn as an adult in business you cannot just throw in the towel on these things because it would be easier. You have to walk the tightwire and pursue all of the priorities with constant adjustments.
