Holy shit.
It's up there in the top 10 most favorite things to read, it's freaking great. The fact that they're even sort of attempting this is great because it's so not a Hollywood kinda story.
Why are people calling this a woke narrative, though? I mean yeah, pretty much everything in Hollywood is now, but is it because Dev Patel is portraying Gawain? He's Lot's son, one of his nicknames is "Gawain the Brown," for cryin' out loud. Where's the fire?
I just hope it's at least a fraction as weird as the source material.
