Explain to me again how every American can get a cell phone but ID is a hardship? You have to torture your brain to get there.
Easy ...
Any one can give any one a cell phone. Any one can buy a cell phone.
"ID," the sort that the you'd deem necessary to prove voting eligibility, can only be issued by government entities.
ID is hard to get. Okay then. I believe you. For me it’s the opposite. I can’t function without ID.
I agree with this. In the US today, it is weird that a significant amount of people would not or cannot get an ID. If this were rural India, okay, there are some barriers. But in the US????
Of course there are some people, but I believe that for some reason or another (mental issues, etc.), they do not want to get an ID. But for everyone else, there really is not a excuse.

But in the US????
There is nobody, except for a few extreme cases, who cannot easily get an ID.
Nobody.
Easily.

Shhhhh. Just like people who won’t take the vaccine you have people who truly believe it’s a thing. You could video how easy it is and it wouldn’t matter.

Trump is getting back on the trail.
And GOP politicians still want his endorsement very much.
Aides say Trump wants to play a role in winning back the House in the 2022 midterm elections, and he has released a slew of endorsements for pro-Trump candidates in Senate and House races across the country. He announced a MAGA rally for July 3 in Sarasota, Fla., and is expected to also hold rallies in Georgia to support Republican Rep. Jody Hice, who is running to replace secretary of state Brad Raffensperger, another Republican whom Trump blames for his loss. Trump is also set to go to Alabama to support Rep. Mo Brooks, a Republican who is running for Senate. And in July, Trump will be the keynote speaker at the Conservative Political Action Convention in Dallas, Texas.
…
There has been discussion among Trump aides ahead of Saturday’s rally about not allowing candidates backstage to take photos with the former president for fear that those images could later be used to falsely imply they received his endorsement. Trump aides have been increasingly aggressive about pushing back on efforts from candidates to suggest they have Trump’s backing when they don’t.
.
Trump’s support has been sought after in the Ohio Senate race, where earlier this year a handful of them met with the former president in an Apprentice-style sit down where they jockeyed to impress him. Trump has so far remained neutral in the contest. Some of the Republican candidates are expected to attend the pre-rally fundraiser.

Nikki Haley is sticking with Trump.

Ivanka and Jared distance themsevles from Trump, though you can argue that this is really not reflective of the GOP since one can argue that Ivanka and Jared would not have much to do with the GOP if it were not for Donald Trump getting into GOP politics.

Mike Pence booed, called traitor at conservative Christian conference
For @Mik and anyone else who like to believe that Trump supporters support Trump as a matter of policy rather than as a matter of personality, this crowd who booed Pence do not appear to fit this categorization. There is no reason to believe that any one who supports Trump's policy rather than Trump the person would boo Pence or call Pence a traitor.

The notion that it's difficult to get an ID in the US is ridiculous. When one gets their information purely from the media, one actually believes that. But when you talk directly to the people they claim have difficulty getting ID'S THEY every single one will tell you it's not true, and then show you their ID. That's the trouble with basing your opinions on what you read - you end up believing the shit promoted by the Left.
To believe a lot of people have difficulty getting an ID means, just a tiny list....
- Black people can't go to a hospital
- Black people can't get a checking account or use the banking system
- Black people aren't allowed to drive a car
- Black people aren't allowed to get bloodwork done
- Black people arent allowed to do much of anything....
Black people are insulted by the notion that they are too stupid to go get an ID. They are insulted by the racist logic behind it, and many see it for what it is - the same attitude the democrats had and used to justify enslaving them.

Ax. I am calling bullshit on this and you drank the fake news kool aid. Someone heckled and there were some boos but overwhelming the crowd was polite and the cheers greatly exceeded the boos.
Prove me wrong or take it back.

Actually, I don't quite the point about requiring an ID to vote either.
I know of no other country where you can vote without an ID. Over here, every adult must carry an ID with him or her basically whenever he or she leaves the house. It's needed for a million things. And of course you can't vote without it - how do you want to guarantee a fair election if you don't check IDs?

We have a myth in the US that people actually believe that you can function without ID. It’s BS that has quite a following.

I don’t understand either. How are people kept from voting multiple times if they don’t have ID? How are age restrictions or citizenship restrictions or felon restrictions enforced?

'Almost no idea more un-American': Pence breaks with Trump on Jan. 6
Former Vice President Mike Pence on Thursday offered his most forceful rejection yet of former President Donald Trump’s effort to overturn the 2020 election on Jan. 6, but declined to directly criticize Trump by name or assign him any blame for inciting the deadly Capitol attack.
Instead, Pence — speaking at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif. — insisted he was not constitutionally empowered to reverse the election results when he presided over the counting of electoral votes in Congress in January. Trump had urged him to do so in the hours before the former president’s supporters stormed the Capitol.

Statement by Donald J. Trump:
Had Mitch McConnell fought for the Presidency like he should have, there would right now be Presidential Vetoes on all of the phased Legislation that he has proven to be incapable of stopping. Not to mention, he lost two Senatorial seats in Georgia, making the Republicans the Minority in the Senate. He never fought for the White House and blew it for the Country. Too bad I backed him in Kentucky, he would have been primaried and lost! Based on press reports, he convinced his buddy, Bill Barr, to get the corrupt (based on massive amounts of evidence that the Fake News refuses to mention!) election done, over with, and sealed for Biden, ASAP!
Trump blames Mitch McConnell and Bill Barr for his loss. What a sore loser. Sad!
-
And you're fixated on Trump.
More sadder.

I don’t think the state GOP endorsed Lankford’s opponent. Can you clarify that Ax. Maybe you can help the daily beast get a more accurate article.
