But does this actually work? Is it sound to assume that all ads stem from a different domain, and that those domains can be blocked completely? Sounds rather coarse-grained.
Also, I assume if many people would start blocking ads that way, there'd be an easy way to hide the source domain of an ad. For instance, the server that serves the content could act as a proxy server for the ads.
