Always hated those too, Mik. And in Manhattan, that's pretty much all you get. It was very common for the distance between you and the stranger beside you to be less than the distance between you and your date across the table.

    That's over with. Maybe forever.

That was an accident. A happy one, admittedly, but still an accident. And it will make its own CO2.

It turns out that My Favorite Redhead is an absolute expert on this stuff, having sold disinfectant wipes and chemicals, and taught about them in boot camps around the country.

What you need to look at is:

Kill Claims: What the product is supposed to kill. You want a broad range of things killed.

Dwell Time: The amount of time the agent has to remain wet on a surface. A shorter dwell time is better. We are using Oxivir TB Wipes, which use hydrogen peroxide and have a one minute dwell time. If the wetness dissipates before the dwell tie you have to re-wet it.

We found that it's also a good way to mix up the random crap that's available in the way of groceries.

It will vanish like fart in the wind. I sure wouldn't invest much in it, but it might be a good way to get some folks to work if you can get the PPE. The odd thing about all the economic destruction is the pandemic is also creating a whole lot of opportunities.

It’s not an easy checklist to pass but I think the most interesting aspect is that it is bipartisan and contstitutes House members. Like finding a zebra in a pack of horses.

    We know that won’t happen.

For one thing we know you won’t go back.

    And you won’t be alone.

No need for me. Still working remotely, so the risk is both stupid and severe.

I wonder if your attitude would be so cavalier if you were not still receiving an income.

    I'd bet not.

Says someone who doesn't even have to consider working. If you had read other posts on this—which you haven't—you'd know my job security is very fragile.

LD asked us earlier what we'd do about a reopening plan. Why don't you actually go and read that thread before you start making shit up about my position.

Now, I sense you're projecting. You have no idea what I read or don't.

Okay, what's my idea then? You don't know, do you? I have a plan I threw up about how to do this safely. You have no idea what I'm talking about because no, you haven't read it. It wasn't "everybody stay home."

When the Northern Virginia government workers are starting to be furloughed, that's when the shit will hit the fan and Northam's tune will change.

Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are the largest living private philanthropists. I wonder if Pope Francis would therefore absolve their wealth from his inequality pleas.

Remember when "at this point in time" was a thing?

My dad used to get so mad about that one. He'd say 'WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH 'NOW'?'
